About HerbFest

Hi, I’m Cat Green, founder of Everyday Empowered and HerbFest!

I’m a card-carrying herb nerd and I honestly can’t imagine how people live a life without herbs.

Combining my love for herbs with my love for people (one of my life mottoes is: life’s better together!), HerbFest was born.

I’ve been running workshops since I was a teenager, but even so, I wasn’t sure if HerbFest would work. In 2021, doggedly dodging COVID lockdowns, our first HerbFest had 20ish stalls, 4 speakers and 250ish people at the Peregian Community Gardens Veggie Village.

Over the first 5 years, we’ve grown to 55 stalls and a thousand people coming to hang out, with many coming interstate to join us!

Whilst HerbFest might have started with me, it’s YOU, our community who’ve made it the incredible event it is!
